On an’ On is a high solids, non-buff, metal interlock floor finish designed to reduce labor costs by requiring fewer coats for application. This finish combines a deep glossy appearance with robust wearability, ensuring long-lasting protection and beauty for various flooring surfaces. Unlike many high-solids finishes, On an’ On levels smoothly and is easy to apply, providing a seamless and professional look. Key features include superior leveling, which ensures an even application and ease of repairability. With 25% non-volatile solids, On an’ On offers nearly twice the protection per coat compared to conventional finishes, ultimately reducing in-use costs. It is highly resistant to scuffs and black heel marks, with surface marks easily cleaned, buffed, or burnished away. On an’ On is UL approved, meeting the slip resistance standards set by Underwriter Laboratories, providing a secure walking surface with a static coefficient of friction that meets or exceeds 0.5 as determined by ASTM Method D 2047. For the initial application, old wax or floor finish should be completely stripped using a Spartan stripper, followed by thorough rinsing and drying. On an’ On can serve as a self-sealing finish or be applied over a Spartan sealer for old or damaged flooring. Maintenance includes routine dust mopping, periodic damp mopping with neutral cleaners, and as-needed dust mopping and reapplication of the finish. Annual maintenance involves deep scrubbing and recoating or complete stripping and resealing.
