The Miele C3 Brilliant is a top of the line Miele canister that includes deluxe features and the ultimate accessories to make this vacuum the best of the best when it comes to the C3 canister line. The features adorning the body of this canister vacuum are ingenious and unique to any canister vacuum. To begin, Miele uses their 1200-watt Vortex motor that is uber quiet - a feature Miele is known for which only gets better with the C3 line. The skeleton construction of the C3 Brilliant allows this vacuum to be lightweight and great for use in multi-story homes where a vacuum needs to go up and down stairs.
The crushproof hose on the Miele C3 Brilliant includes a deluxe handle grip with electrobrush controls and suction controls. These controls allow the user to control the brushbar on the power tool by turning it on and off, as well as control the level of suction power coming through the hose, wand and/or floor tool. The deluxe handle has a flexible crushproof hose that is larger than most hoses at 1 1/3" diameter. The handle also connects to an adjustable telescopic wand that allows for easy floor to ceiling cleaning. Floor tools are one of the elite features of the C3 Brilliant, offering the ultimate turbo brush for all carpet heights, the SEB 236 Electro Premium electrobrush, and the SBB 300-3 Parquet Twister floor tool for all solid floors. The SEB236 Electro Premium floor tool includes an led headlight to illuminate floor surfaces while cleaning and adjustable height foot pedals to raise or lower the brushbar to the optimum height. The SEB 236 floor tool also features smart park technology which turns the power of the floor tool off automatically when placed in park for any amount of time, then automatically restarts when the floor tool is engaged again.
Filtration has always been an important aspect to building Miele canister vacuum cleaners. The Miele C3 Brilliant offers the exclusive 12-stage AirClean Sealed system which guarantees the air leaving your Miele vacuum cleaner will be cleaner than the air that entered the machine. The C3 Brilliant uses the distinctive AirClean type G/N Filterbags, which compose 9 layers of the 12-stage, or layer, system of capturing and retaining dust and debris. The C3 Brilliant also comes with the Active HEPA filter (AH-50) and a filter replacement indicator to alert the user when the time has come to replace the filter.
The body of the Miele C3 Brilliant is a masterpiece in and of itself. The sophisticate mahogany brown metallic finish is so beautiful it deserves to be displayed rather than stored. The C3 Brilliant offers an illuminated side park system and exclusive LED underbody lights. The C3 Brilliant is also the first and only Miele canister to feature an exclusive velvet bumper strip along the outer edges of the base which acts to protect furniture when bumping into obstacles.
One of the great Miele "green" (or eco conscious) features is the automatic setting on the C3 Brilliant. By choosing the Auto feature on the vacuum, the motor switches to a “smart setting” that allows the user to vacuum multiple surfaces throughout the home without the need to adjust the variable power settings - the machine does this automatically based on the amount of suction required for the job. Whether you are cleaning carpet, blinds, lamp shades or other delicate items, the C3 Brilliant will convert to the power setting appropriate for the cleaning task at hand. This feature saves power as well because the vacuum is not unnecessarily using the highest setting when it should be using a lesser power. If you do not wish to use the automatic feature, there are 5 other setting options you may use.
The S8 series from Miele also featured a one touch cable rewind system. When it's time to put the cord away, simply touch the cable rewind and the cord will automatically store itself in the vacuum without the user having to hold down a rewind button. From the power cord to the hose and wand, the Miele C3 Brilliant offers an impressive 36 foot cleaning radius.
